One small step, one giant leap

Making new friends on NCS Making new friends on NCS

Stay away from home in the great outdoors. Meet new friends, build your confidence and try new challenges led by fully qualified staff (Residential)

 

Residential - Firstly, you spend time away from home enjoying instructor-led group activities such as kayaking, high ropes and team building. (4 days in half-term programmes , 5 days in Summer programme)

LEARN REAL LIFE LESSONS

Making new friends on the NCS programme Making new friends on the NCS programme

On the NCS programme you will be encouraged to become more independent. Discover more about your community and learn vital new life skills (Non Residential)

 

Learn new skills and meet with businesses and organisations in the local community, before you plan and pitch for your funding for your chosen social action project. (3 days in half-term in programmes, 5 days in Summer)

Fast forward your future

Volunteering with new friends on NCS

Be inspired by businesses and community groups. Design a project to help a local charity or cause of your choice. (Non Residential)

 

Once your team has  their funding, it’s time to make your team project happen. Projects range from raising money for a chosen charity, raising awareness of local issues, or regenerating public spaces. (30hr Evenings or Weekends in half-term programmes, 5 days Summer)
