What to expect

Meet lots of great people in the first stage of the programme. Take on new challenges, build your team  and practice your leadership skills whilst having a great time away from home. You will take part in lots of activities throughout the day and in the evening you have a chance to relax and enjoy the company of your new friends.

It's not all about high ropes but also includes problem solving, sport, creative and artistic activities. There truly is something for everyone. Everyone has their own limits and challenges to face. All we ask is that you attempt to push yourself to take on these new challenges which will help develop your team.

Learn new skills in your second week whilst spending some quality time with your new friends. MyBnk is one of the many organisations that we work with who deliver high impact financial and enterprise sessions that will help you with planning and delivering your event.

Try one of our cookery skill building sessions whilst hanging out with your new team. Not only will you have fun in our 'Master Chef' style workshop but the food that you cook will then be transported to the local homeless shelter.

Engage with the community and support a local elderly home by running activities and helping with the day to day running of the organisation. Come away feeling great about your contribution and perhaps think about supporting the organisation as part of your event.

Work with some great businesses and organisation around Cambridgeshire. Born to be Beautiful develops therapy training and skills to victims of abject poverty and moden poverty, restoring dignity and hope to lives devastated by exploitation.

Want your 10min of fame? promote your event on BBC Cambrideshire radio along with the rest of your journey. Get the chance to share your experience with the rest of Cambrideshire along with your new team.

No matter what your interest, in the later stages of the programme you will get the opportunity to develop your own event or initiative. One of our groups managed to plan, promote and deliver a successful concert at The Junction for the Red Ballon Charity where they raised money and awareness for a great charity.

Graduate to become one of the thousands of graduates from across the country. Become a member of the NCS graduate programme where you will have new opportunities open up to you. Add this experience to your CV use it to help with future employment or university applications.
